Motivation. Who do you motivate on a team to encourage the desired result. This young lady drove her fundraising team to be 1st so she would get first pick of the special prizing. Guess what she wanted?

Eventsplus was hired to help create revenue streams for the 2005 Bytown Ball. Through a contact in the coin business we were able to develop a unique coin, of huge value. It became legal tender in Ottawa's Byward Market for 14 days. It sold out and raised $25,000 for the benefactors.

The Barenaked Ladies Band has a song, "If I Had a Million Dollars". In a sponsored MS fundraiser in 2007, one young man came 7 feet from One Million Dollars.  As the event planner we of course would have loved to have had it won, from a marketing view alone.

Cause related marketing. We know how. In 2012 Eventsplus produced from scratch a halloween fashion show to benefit Breast Cancer fundraising. We received over 8 minutes of prime time TV coverage and over 2 pages of colour print media. 

The newly appointed Bachelor Host, Jesse Palmer, returned to Ottawa in 2005, as the post Bachelor to fundraise for his former Junior Riders Football Club and Cystic Fibrosis. Eventsplus negotiated an autograph signing at Bayshore Mall.
